The Ireland Information Group of Sweden held its annual congress the 5th of March. The congress could recognize that, despite the pandemic, we have upheld our solidarity work on behalf of the Irish republican struggle for freedom. The congress would like to send it’s best wishes, and a message of solidarity, to our friends in the struggle.
The ruthless enemy is trying it’s best to crush the Republican Movement, in the prisons, through harassments, house raids, threats, and incarcerations. Repression they promisse will stop, if only the Irish people stop their resistance.
We have followed the struggle in Ireland, and other struggles against occupation and oppression, for long enough to see through these lies.
To demand an end to resistance is to demand subjugation. It is to demand that the occupied accept tyranny and oppression from their occupiers.
We will always support occupied and oppressed people fighting for their freedom. This is the foundation our solidarity and our work is built on, and will continue.
