Föreningen Irlandinformation högtidlighåller varje år den internationella arbetarklassens kampdag, Första maj.
Kampen för det klasslösa samhället tar sig olika uttryck i olika länder världen över. I länder där befolkningen lever under ockupation är alltjämt kampen mot denna central för klasskampen. På Irland har stora delar av motståndskampen mot ockupationen av de sex grevskapen i norr sålts ut i och med långfredagsavtalet. Dock finns fortfarande starka och växande grupper som motsätter sig långfredagsavtalet och förräderiet. Dessa grupper skänker hopp åt arbetarbefolkningen på hela Irland. De krafter som sålt ut motståndet mot ockupationen kan aldrig sägas stå på arbetarklassens sida.

The Ireland Information Group of Sweden yearley celebrates the international day of the working class – the 1th of may.
The struggle for the classless society takes different forms in different countries all over the world. In countries where the people live under occupation, the resistance against the occupier is always a an important part of the struggle for the working class. In Ireland, important parts of the resistance movement against the occupation of the six countys in the north, sold out to the Brits by the Good friday agreement. Even so there are still groups that opposes the capitulation and the Good friday agreement. These groups are growing and brings hope to the working class population throughout Ireland. The groups that have sold out their resistance against the occupation can never be said to be on the side of the working class.
