Efter två år av pandemi och restriktioner var det åter dags för arbetarrörelsen att traditionsenligt demonstrera, fira och sörja.
Under 1maj 2022 valde föreningen Irlandinformation att minnas de som osjälviskt ställde sig i första ledet mot förtryckarna. Föreningen Irlandinformations gemensamma paroll för 1maj 2022 löd således ”Vi minns dom som offrade allt”.
Göteborg:
I Göteborg började dagen med ett Irlandinformation och Rojavakomittéerna samlades på Olof Palmes Plats för att för att tillsammans med kamrater uppmärksamma och minnas de som gett allt i kampen och som inte längre finns med oss.
Efter minnesstunden begav sig deltagarna ifrån minnesstunden till Masthuggstorget där irlandininformation deltog i den årliga minnesmanifestation till minne av de Spanienfrivilliga.
Efter minnesmanifestation nedlades en bukett med blommor från föreningen.
Stockholm:
I Stockholm inledde föreningen dagen med samling vid La Mano-monumentet på Katarinavägen där föreningen deltog i den årliga minnesmanifestation för de Spanienfrivilliga som stupade i kriget mot Francofascismen under Spanska inbördeskriget.
Efter minnesmanifestation nedlades en bukett med blommor från föreningen med budskapet ”Vi minns dom som offrade allt”.

During 1 May 2022, Ireland Information Group of Sweden chose to remember those who unselfishly put themselves in the first line against the oppressors. The Ireland Information Group´s slogan for 1 May 2022 was ”We remember those who sacrificed everything”.
Gothenburg:
In Gothenburg, the Ireland Information Group of Sweden and the Rojava committees gathered at Olof Palmes Plats to, together with comrades, draw attention to and remember those who have given their all in the fight and who are no longer with us.
After the memorial service, the participants went to Masthuggstorget, where the Ireland Information Group participated in the annual memorial event in memory of the Spanish volunteers.
After the memorial service, a bouquet of flowers was laid from the association.
