På en kongress igår i Dublin beslutade Sinn Fein att erkänna den nordirländska poliskåren RUC/PSNI. Den nya policyn är en eftergift till det hårdföra unionistpartiet DUP. Den nya linjens syfte är att gjuta nytt liv i den politiska processen och återupprätta självstyre i provinsen.
I och med beslutet att stödja poliskåren har Sinn Fein helt avlägsnat sig helt från sina revolutionära rötter, och partiets långsiktiga mål sträcker sig nu inte längre än administrerandet av brittiskt styre i Irlands 6 ockuperade grevskap.
Polisen är den brittiska ockupationsmaktens spjutspets i kampen mot Irlands nationella befrielserörelse. Sinn Fein är den irländska republikanismens dissidenter – den verkliga republikanska rörelsen utgörs av de grupper som fortsätter att kämpa för Irlands enande i en socialistisk republik.
At a congress yesterday in Dublin, Sinn Fein decided to recognize the Northern Ireland Police Corps RUC / PSNI. The new policy is a remission of the hard-line Unionist DUP. The purpose of the new line is to revitalize the political process and restore self-government in the province.
With the decision to support the police force, Sinn Fein has completely withdrawn from its revolutionary roots, and the party’s long-term goals now extend beyond the administration of British rule in Ireland’s occupied 6 counties.
The police are the spearhead of the British occupation force in the fight against Ireland’s national liberation movement. Sinn Fein is the dissident of Irish republicanism – the real republican movement is made up of the groups that continue to fight for the unification of Ireland in a socialist republic.
