I ett avtal med den fascistiska diktatorn Erdogan har Sverige nu gått med på historiska angrepp mot svenska kurder. Avtalet har slutits för att Sverige ska tillåtas bli kandidatland till den imperialistiska västalliansen Nato.
I avtalet står bland annat att svenska kurder ska lämnas ut till den turkiska regimen. Man lovar även att ”propaganda för PKK” ska ses på med strängare ögon, och att bidrag till PKK eller närstående organisationer ska kriminaliseras.
Irlandinformation är en förening som dagligen arbetar mot statlig repression mot republikanska aktivister i den irländska frihetskampen. Vi känner en djup solidaritet med andra frihetskamper världen över, såväl i Kurdistan som i Palestina. Vi kommer därför alltid att ta strid för rätten att ge stöd till organisationer och folk som utsätts för statlig repression för sin kamp för frihet och nationellt självbestämmande. Om våra kurdiska kamrater i Sverige behöver det kommer vi aldrig att tveka att stå solidariska med dem mot den statliga repressionen. Det är en kamp vi måste ta och inte har råd att förlora.

In an agreement with the fascist dictator Erdogan, Sweden has now commited itself to historic attacks on the Kurds in Sweden. The agreement is made to let Sweden become a candidate country for membership in the imperialistic western alliance Nato.
The agreement states, among other things, that Swedish kurds will be extradited to the Turkish fascist regime. The Swedish government also promise that ”propaganda for the PKK” will be seen as a hostile act, and that economic support for the PKK and associated organisations will be criminalised.
The Ireland Information Group of Sweden is an organisation that works against state repression against republican activists in the Irish freedom struggle on a daily basis. Due to this, we have the deepest solidarity with other freedom struggles around the world, in Kurdistan as well as in Palestine. We will therefore take a stand for the right to give support to organisations and people that suffer from state repression in their fight for freedom and national self determination. If our kurdish comrades in Sweden needs it, we will never hesitate to stand up in solidarity with them against state repression. We can’t afford to loose that fight.
