Irlandinformation fördömer det senaste utslaget i processen mot Liam Campbell.
Den irländska fristatens repression mot republikaner är fortsatt hård. En av de som drabbas hårdast är republikanen Liam Campbell. Efter många turer i rättssystemet har han begärts utlämnad till Litauen, ett land han aldrig besökt, anklagad för att ha försökt organisera en vapenaffär som aldrig ägde rum. Liams bror, som ursprungligen greps misstänkt för brottet i Litauen, friades senare helt från anklagelserna. Trots detta ska nu Liam istället utvisas. För politiska fångar är Litauen ingen rättsstat och deras fängelsesystem har många gånger fått internationell kritik. Trots detta överväger nu irländska myndigheter i fristaten att utlämna Campbell till Litauen. Detta visar ännu en gång att juridisk rättvisa inte finns för republikaner, varken i fristaten eller i de 6 grevskapen i norr.
Irlandinformation fördömer utslaget i fristatens illegitima domstol. Liam Campbell ska inte lämnas ut, han är ingen brottsling och ska inte behandlas som en sådan, vare sig i Litauen eller i fristaten.

The Ireland Information Group of Sweden condemns the latest ruling in the court case against Liam Campbell.
The repression from the Irish Free State against republicans remains harsh. One of the most targeted is the republican Liam Campbell. After multiple runs through the justice system a ruling has come down to extradite him to Lithuania, a country he have never been to, accused of having tried to organise a arms deal that never happened. Liam’s brother, who was originally arrested for the crime in Lithuania, have since been completely acquitted of all charges. Despite this Liam is now up for extradition. For political prisoners Lithuania does not have a functioning justice system and their prison system have on many occasions received international criticism.
Despite this the authorities in the Irish Free State are considering extraditing Liam to Lithuania. This once again shows that there is no justice for republicans, either in the Free State or in the 6 counties in the north.
